Based on the name Sinai and its location in the middle of the Wilderness of Sin, it’s reasonable to conclude that in Moses’ day, this mountain was considered the abode of the moon-god.Yahweh brought Moses to Mount Sinai during his sojourn with Jethro and the Midianites for a reason. And He brought the Israelites there right after springing them from Egypt for a reason. What could that reason be?
