đđA Celebration of Faith, Freedom, and Family as President Trump Leads America in Honoring Christ at the White House Easter Egg Roll
We're honoring Jesus Christ⊠not just now, but all throughout our lives.
â President Donald J. Trump
Washington, D.C. â Against the charming backdrop of pastel-colored eggs, patriotic music, and thousands of cheerful families, President Donald J. Trump and First Lady Melania Trump hosted the iconic White House Easter Egg Roll on Sunday, marking a spirited celebration of Easter, unity, and revival.
The 2025 White House lawn teemed with life as children and parents gathered in the tens of thousands. The atmosphere turned reverent as Master Gunnery Sergeant Kevin Baneer and the President's Own U.S. Marine Band led the crowd in a stirring rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner. President Trump, First Lady Melania, and the Easter Bunny stood tall, saluting the flag and faith that defines the American spirit.
đșđž A Message of Faith and National Renewal
In a brief but heartfelt speech, President Trump declared,
âEaster is special⊠we are honoring Jesus Christâand weâre going to honor Him powerfully throughout our lives.â
He emphasized the spiritual rebirth occurring across America, stating,
âReligion is coming back to America⊠thatâs why youâre seeing the spirit and the numbers weâre seeing.â
Trumpâs message was clear: the Easter Egg Roll wasnât merely a White House traditionâit was a public acknowledgment of Americaâs need to return to its Judeo-Christian roots during a critical time of transition, revival, and challenge.
He also announced the signing of a solemn executive order:
âI just signed an executive order putting all federal and state flags at half-mast in honor of Pope Francis⊠He was a good man who loved the world.â
This unexpected tribute to the late pontiff set a reverent tone, bridging political and spiritual leadership in a time of global uncertainty.

đ A Surge in Patriotism: Record Military & Law Enforcement Recruitment
With pride, Trump highlighted the remarkable rise in recruitment since his reelection:
âWe had the highest number of recruits, I think in 28 or 29 years. Itâs a testament to whatâs happening in terms of the spirit of our country.â
He noted similar surges in police, fire, and other law enforcement enrollments, attributing the momentum to a renewed national confidence and trust in leadership.
đšâđ©âđ§âđŠ Melania's Touch: Organizing the Easter Celebration
The First Lady received warm praise from the President for organizing the dayâs festivities:
âShe worked very, very hard on it⊠I said, âWhat are you doing?â She said, âIâm working on the Egg Roll.â I said, âThat sounds like fun!ââ
Indeed, children giggled and raced, rolling eggs across the South Lawn in an enduring White House tradition, as music played and laughter echoed across the historic estate.
đ° Press Q&A: Tariffs, Immigration, Foreign Affairs & Spiritual Revival
Following the Easter celebration, President Trump turned to the press for an impromptu Q&A session.
â
Tariff Strategy
âWeâre going to make a lot of money. Weâre already at 25% on cars, aluminum, and steelâtaking in more money than this country has seen.â
He reiterated that the tariffs are part of a broader economic restructuring effort, especially as he presses forward with Project DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) and his vision to restore American manufacturing.
đ Foreign Affairs
Trump revealed he had held âvery good meetingsâ regarding Ukraine, Russia, and Iran, promising more details in the coming days:
âWe had very good meetings⊠the next step is time.â
đ Immigration & Border Security
Addressing tough questions on immigration policy, Trump firmly stated:
âWe were elected to clean up the mess⊠many came in from prisons and mental institutions⊠If people came legally, theyâre going to be in good shape.â
He differentiated between illegal entrants and those who entered lawfully under the Biden-era program, indicating a nuanced approach with an emphasis on law, order, and compassion.

âïž Final Reflection by Troy Anderson
Revival Is Hereâand God Is Not Done with America
As I stood reflecting on the joyful atmosphere of the White House Easter Egg Rollâchildren laughing, families worshiping, and a president boldly proclaiming the name of Jesus ChristâI couldnât help but sense the unmistakable move of God stirring across this land.
âWe're honoring Jesus Christ⊠not just now, but all throughout our lives.â Those were the words President Trump spoke. And I believe those words echo not only from the South Lawn of the White House but from the very heart of heaven.
Revival is happeningânot just in America but all over the world. And God, in His sovereign wisdom, chose Donald J. Trump to lead the United States in such a time as this. Imperfect like all of us, but willing to stand for truth, faith, and freedom. A man who isnât afraid to say the name above all namesâJesus Christâand invite pastors into the Oval Office to pray. A leader who continues to boldly declare, âIn God we trust.â
Even Franklin Graham, president of Samaritanâs Purse and a bold voice of faith in our generation, put it plainly in a recent interview:
âThis is a movement of God. I embrace it. I thank God for it⊠God may be doing it right now.â
Heâs right. We are seeing churches fill again. Men and women, especially young people, are being baptized on college campuses and in backyardsâsome even in pickup trucks. Thereâs a hunger for truth, for purpose, and for something eternal. We see it in the headlines. We feel it in our spirits. And we hear it in the bold voices rising up across this nation.
As the media often announces the âdeath of Christianity,â whatâs really happening is the resurrection of the Church. The same power that raised Christ from the grave is breathing new life into this nation.
Let it be known: God is not finished with America.
And Heâs raising up a generation of disruptors, revivalists, and prophetic leadersâpeople like President Trumpâwho will not bow to the idols of this age but will stand courageously for the Kingdom of God.
Revival isnât coming. Revival is here.
And I believe weâre only seeing the beginning.
With faith, hope, and courage,
