Dear Prophecy Investigators’ News Community,
As we anticipate the release of Pastor Paul Begley and Prophecy Investigators Founder Troy Anderson’s upcoming book Revelation 911: How the Book of Revelation Intersects with Today’s Headlines (Salem Books, March 26), we also wanted to bring to your attention the upcoming release of a second book - Your Mission in God’s Army: Discovering and Completing Your Faith-Filled Assignment Before Christ’s Return (Chosen Books/Baker Publishing Group, April 16).
Pastor Begley says it’s no accident that the two books are coming out at the same time, saying the books are a “one-two punch” to help awaken the world to the lateness of the hour on God’s prophetic timeclock and inspire believers to join God’s Army to help bring in the “Great Harvest Revival.”
Colonel David Giammona and Pulitzer Prize-nominated journalist Troy Anderson’s new book Your Mission in God’s Army (April 2024) is a follow-up to their #1 bestsellers The Military Guide to Armageddon (2021) and The Military Guide to Disarming Deception (2022).
In it, they talk about taking inventory of your life and your talents and how to use the gifts and abilities God has given you to make a difference in the world for Him as we enter a new year.
They believe that important assignments are not always asked for. Sometimes it’s looking beyond what you know to what you believe.
Says Giammona, “Soldiers always want to know the reason for their mission, for without purpose there is no motivation to move into harm’s way. It is the same for the believer.
“Sometimes it seems that a mission or assignment will never come to fruition, but the key is never to give up. If you are experiencing difficulties, obstacles or problems, do the next thing, little by little, and if God is directing you, you will progress and succeed.”
They tackle current conversations such as:
People are afraid of world-shaking events. They discuss these fears and focus on the physical and spiritual implications of today
With politics at the forefront of the news, how do we go beyond politics and address core issues?
How do we keep focused in a chaotic world?
How should I impact culture instead of culture impacting me?
Giammona is a frequent guest on Newsmax discussing the implications of the war in Israel, military decisions, and the political landscape in 2024.
Given the timing of these events, the authors believe it’s important to understand our role in God’s army so we can walk by faith in our assigned tasks.
“Our eternal destiny must always be at the forefront of our minds and the center of our hearts. When we consider our assignment and purpose for today, nothing is more important than maintaining an eternal perspective.”
