The Revelation 911 Vision: AI, the Beast System and an Urgent Call to Prepare
It began quietly in July 2021, as Pastor Paul Begley sat studying the Bible with his concordance open before him. Then, without warning, Begley says the atmosphere seemed to change. In what he describes as an open vision, the words “Revelation 911”suddenly appeared before him in red, suspended in the air like a prophetic banner. Moments later, the scene shifted dramatically. Begley saw what appeared to be a massive pit, heard the rattling of chains, and watched smoke rise as a terrifying spiritual presence emerged from the abyss. As strange objects moved rapidly through the smoke, Begley says he immediately sensed that what he was seeing was connected to Revelation 9 and the terrifying imagery surrounding the bottomless pit and Apollyon.
“Lord, what am I seeing?” Begley recalled asking. The answer he says came to his spirit was chilling in its urgency: “It’s about to happen. It’s upon mankind. Warn the people.” When Begley pressed further, asking what exactly was about to happen, he says the Lord simply told him, “Go read it.” Begley returned to Revelation 9 and began studying the passage in depth, convinced that the vision carried a warning not simply about one event, but about a much larger prophetic scenario that could someday confront the world.
That extraordinary experience eventually became a catalyst for Revelation 911, the book Pastor Begley and I wrote together examining the convergence of biblical prophecy, geopolitical upheaval, rapidly advancing technology and the spiritual battle we believe is intensifying across the world. Now, in a compelling new interview with Bob DuVall on In Times Like These, Begley has revisited the vision and expanded upon what he believes it could mean as humanity moves deeper into an era marked by artificial intelligence, global economic restructuring, wars and rumors of wars, growing centralized power and unprecedented technological capabilities.
For Begley, the term “Revelation 911” carried an immediate double meaning. The number naturally evoked the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks, one of the most traumatic events in modern American history, but he came to believe that the vision pointed far beyond the destruction of the World Trade Center. In his view, 9/11 may have served as a warning sign or precursor to a much larger period of global upheaval described throughout Revelation. In the interview, Begley connects his vision with passages in Revelation 9, 13, 17 and 18, as well as Daniel, Matthew 24 and 2 Thessalonians, raising profound questions about whether the political, economic, spiritual and technological infrastructure necessary for the end-times system foretold in Scripture is beginning to emerge before our eyes.
One of the most striking moments in the interview comes as Begley discusses the Feast of Trumpets. He is careful not to set a date for the return of Jesus Christ, repeatedly acknowledging Christ’s warning that no one knows the day or the hour. Yet he believes the convergence of the 25th anniversary of 9/11 with the biblical season of trumpets carries symbolic significance and should prompt believers to pay attention. “There’s going to be a warning,” Begley told DuVall, describing it as a spiritual trumpet blast calling America to awaken. His message, he said, is that the nation should be on high alert and that the Lord may be speaking to His people about the times into which we are entering

The Rise of the Beast System?
The deeper question running through the interview is whether the world is witnessing the gradual construction of what the Bible calls the beast system. For centuries, Christians have studied Revelation’s mysterious references to ten kings who receive authority with the Beast. Traditionally, many interpreters have viewed these figures as political rulers or leaders of nations. Begley does not dismiss that possibility, but after years of studying the passages, he began considering another interpretation: What if these “kings” also represent vast centers of power whose influence extends far beyond individual presidents, prime ministers or governments?
In Trump vs. the Beast, the #1 “Hot New Release” in “Prophecies” on Amazon, our new book from Humanix Books/Newsmax Media, Begley and I explore ten powerful spheres that could potentially become components of such a future system: global health and pharmaceutical power; media, Big Tech, entertainment and artificial intelligence; education and human thought engineering; food and agriculture; transportation and global logistics; the military-industrial complex; government; energy; banking and finance; and religion. Begley’s concern is not that every large institution or technological advancement is inherently sinister, but that the consolidation of extraordinary power within these spheres could eventually make possible a level of global coordination and control previous generations could scarcely have imagined.
Nowhere is that possibility more apparent than in the explosive development of artificial intelligence. In our research for Trump vs. the Beast, we explore whether AI could eventually become something akin to the nervous system of a future global order, connecting financial systems, biometric identity, communications, surveillance networks, transportation, healthcare, commerce and government databases with astonishing speed and precision. What once belonged to the realm of science fiction is increasingly becoming technologically possible.
Yet Begley emphasizes an important distinction: technology itself is not the Beast. AI, like virtually every other human invention, can be used for good or evil. The same technology capable of monitoring populations could help translate the Bible into languages and dialects around the world, spread the Gospel into previously inaccessible regions and provide extraordinary tools for evangelism. The crucial question is not simply what the technology can do, but who ultimately controls it, what values govern it, and how it might someday be used.
That question becomes especially significant when viewed alongside Revelation 13, which describes a future system in which no one can buy or sell without the mark associated with the Beast. For nearly two thousand years, believers could read those words only through the lens of faith because no technological system existed that could realistically regulate commerce on a worldwide scale. Today, however, digital currencies, biometric identification, artificial intelligence, programmable payment systems and global financial networks make the mechanics of such control increasingly conceivable.
Begley tells DuVall that the beast system should not be understood simply as one evil leader suddenly appearing on the world stage. In his interpretation, it is an entire structure of political, financial, technological and spiritual control that ultimately serves the Antichrist. The biblical Beast is both a ruler and a kingdom, while the false prophet provides the spiritual dimension that helps persuade humanity to submit to that system. Begley believes many of the technological “building blocks” that could someday enable such control are already being developed, while cautioning that this does not mean any particular technology now in existence should automatically be identified as the Mark of the Beast.

The Other Side of Prophecy: A Great Harvest
The implications are sobering, but this is where Begley’s message takes an important turn. Bible prophecy, he argues, is not merely a story about darkness overtaking the world. Scripture also points toward an extraordinary end-times harvest in which multitudes come to faith in Jesus Christ. When DuVall asks how he can remain optimistic amid such troubling developments, Begley points to the biblical promises of spiritual outpouring, revival and a great harvest of souls. He envisions a move of God of historic proportions, a time when sons and daughters prophesy, young men see visions and people throughout the world respond to the Gospel with unprecedented urgency.
“No matter what else is going on,” Begley says, he remains deeply optimistic about people coming to Christ and experiencing salvation through Jesus Christ.
How Should Christians Prepare?
That is also why the original command Begley says he received—“Warn the people”—should not be interpreted as a call to panic. Biblical warning is meant to produce repentance, wisdom, preparation and faithfulness. When DuVall asks how Christians should prepare for what may be coming, Begley acknowledges the wisdom of practical preparation for natural disasters, power outages and emergencies. But he quickly makes clear that no stockpile of food, water or supplies can substitute for spiritual preparation.
Believers, he says, must strengthen themselves in the Lord, return to Scripture, cultivate a daily devotional life, pray faithfully and refuse to allow fear to overpower faith. “Don’t walk in fear, but walk in faith,” Begley tells viewers. He compares prophetic warning to a road sign alerting motorists that a bridge has collapsed ahead. The person holding the warning sign is not trying to terrify drivers; he is trying to keep them from plunging over the edge. In the same way, Begley says his purpose is not fearmongering but helping the Body of Christ recognize the dangers ahead so believers can remain strong in the Lord.
Perhaps the most powerful moment comes at the end of the interview. After nearly an hour discussing the Antichrist, Revelation’s ten kings, the Beast, AI, economic control and the prophetic future of the world, DuVall asks Begley to pray. Begley immediately turns the conversation back to the central message of Christianity—the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He asks the Lord to speak to viewers’ hearts, show them what they need to do and help them grow in the grace and knowledge of Christ. Then he speaks directly to those who have never accepted Jesus as Savior.
“Today is the day of salvation,” Begley says, explaining that those who believe in their hearts that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, believe that God raised Him from the dead and confess Him as Savior can call upon the name of the Lord and be saved.

“Warn the People”—But Do Not Walk in Fear
In the end, that may be the most important meaning of the Revelation 911 vision. Prophecy is not given merely so believers can construct timelines, identify geopolitical players or speculate about future events. Biblical prophecy is ultimately a call to readiness. It reminds us that human kingdoms rise and fall, technologies advance, economies change and nations shake, but the Word of God stands forever.
The Book of Revelation does indeed describe an Antichrist, a Beast system, economic control, deception, persecution and judgment. But that is not where the story ends. Revelation ultimately unveils Jesus Christ returning in power and glory as King of kings and Lord of lords, defeating evil and establishing His kingdom.
That is why Begley’s warning should be heard not simply as a message of impending danger, but as a call to spiritual awakening. If the prophetic clock is moving forward, this is not the hour for the Church to retreat in fear. It is the hour to pray more fervently, study the Scriptures more deeply, discern the times more carefully, proclaim the Gospel more boldly and stand firmly upon the promises of God.
The command Begley says he heard in that extraordinary vision more than five years ago remains as urgent today as when he first received it:
“Warn the people.”
