Evangelist Franklin Graham has delivered a striking warning about the biblical Antichrist, artificial intelligence, and the future of global power. During an October 15 interview on Hang Out with Sean Hannity, Graham, president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan’s Purse, declared:
“There is going to be a one world system. There is going to be the antichrist.”
His warning comes amid an unusual convergence of religious and political discussions. Vice President JD Vance has raised the possibility that the Antichrist could already be alive, while President Donald Trump has rejected global government at the United Nations and warned of severe economic consequences if Democrats win the November 3 midterm elections. Meanwhile, reported unrest in Europe and prophetic claims surrounding televangelist Jim Bakker’s death have added to public speculation about the future.
These developments coincide with the October 6 release of Trump vs. the Beast: The Ten Kings Prophecy and the Bible’s Revelation of Coming Final Days (Humanix Books/Newsmax Media), the #1 “Best Seller” in “Prophecies” on Amazon that I coauthored with Pastor Paul Begley.
Franklin Graham: The Antichrist and the Mark of the Beast
During his conversation with Hannity, Graham expressed his belief that humanity is approaching the End Times, pointing to Revelation 13 and its description of a future system in which economic participation becomes dependent on the Mark of the Beast.
Revelation 13:16–17 (KJV)
“And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:
And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”
Graham suggested that electronic financial systems, implanted identification devices, and advanced computing have made such controls easier to envision. His interpretation reflects a view held by many evangelical prophecy teachers that the Antichrist will eventually combine political authority, economic coercion, and spiritual allegiance. Other Christian traditions understand these passages symbolically or historically.
Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Human Control
Graham also warned about artificial intelligence, particularly the possibility that increasingly powerful systems could be misused in connection with dangerous pathogens, computer networks, or nuclear weapons. Similar concerns are being debated by technology researchers and national-security specialists, although Graham approached the issue through a distinctly biblical perspective.
These questions are central to Trump vs. the Beast, in which Pastor Begley and I investigate how artificial intelligence, digital currencies, surveillance technologies, and interconnected financial networks could reshape the relationship between individual freedom and centralized authority.

JD Vance: Could the Antichrist Already Be Walking Among Us?
Graham’s comments follow an unusual discussion involving Vice President JD Vance, who addressed the Antichrist during an interview with Christian podcaster Bryce Crawford. Although Vance acknowledged uncertainty about whether humanity is living in the End Times, he suggested that developments in the modern world would leave him unsurprised if the Antichrist were already “walking among us.”
Vance also discussed the spiritual and social implications of artificial intelligence, particularly the risk of technology displacing meaningful human relationships. He did not identify anyone as the Antichrist or claim knowledge of Christ’s return. Nevertheless, his remarks demonstrate how biblical themes are increasingly entering conversations involving senior political leaders.
Trump Rejects Global Government as Graham Warns of a One-World System
During his September 22 address to the United Nations General Assembly, President Trump rejected global government and international taxation, declaring:
“There is no global government. And while I’m president, there will be no global taxes.”
Trump also criticized international efforts he characterized as attempts to control artificial intelligence. His statements concerned sovereignty and international governance rather than biblical prophecy, but they provide an interesting contrast with Graham’s warning about future centralized global authority.
Revelation 17:12–13 (KJV)
“And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.”
Biblical scholars have long debated whether these ten kings represent historical rulers, symbolic political powers, or a future coalition. In Trump vs. the Beast, Begley and I examine these interpretations alongside questions about international institutions, digital finance, and emerging technologies. Neither Trump’s political positions nor the existence of international organizations establishes that a particular biblical prophecy is being fulfilled.

Economic Uncertainty, European Unrest, and Trump’s 1929 Warning
Ahead of the November 3 midterm elections, Trump has warned that Democratic victories could produce an economic depression comparable to 1929.
Meanwhile, unrest in France and Italy has fueled arguments about immigration, economic pressures, public safety, and national sovereignty. Although these developments have complex causes, they raise a broader question explored in Trump vs. the Beast: Could future economic or geopolitical crises increase public acceptance of emergency powers, expanded surveillance, or centralized financial controls?
Jim Bakker, Brandon Biggs, and an Unexpected Connection
One of the most personal moments in Graham’s interview concerned televangelist Jim Bakker, who died October 5, one day before the release of Trump vs. the Beast. Graham recalled Bakker’s early support for Samaritan’s Purse, including television appearances that helped introduce the humanitarian organization to a national audience. He also described maintaining their friendship through Bakker’s imprisonment and subsequent release.
Separately, Pastor Begley has described a July conversation with prophetic commentator Brandon Biggs involving Bakker’s death, a possible pandemic originating in Russia, and the emergence of what Biggs called the Beast kingdom. According to Begley, Biggs also discussed the biblical “restrainer” referenced in 2 Thessalonians 2:6–7, whose identity has long been debated among Christian scholars.
Trump vs. the Beast: Investigating the Ten Kings and Global Power
Released October 6 by Humanix Books/Newsmax Media, Trump vs. the Beast: The Ten Kings Prophecy and the Bible’s Revelation of Coming Final Days examines the Antichrist, the Ten Kings, global governance, artificial intelligence, digital currencies, and surveillance technologies. Coauthored by Pastor Paul Begley and me, with forewords by Kevin Sorbo and Joseph Z, the book investigates whether future technological and political developments could enable unprecedented systems of economic control.
The questions raised by Graham, Vance, and Trump intersect with themes we explored while developing the book. Could interconnected financial infrastructure become vulnerable to political coercion? Could international crises accelerate the consolidation of authority?

From Billy Graham’s Legacy to Franklin Graham’s Call to Faith
For me, this story carries a deeply personal dimension. In 2013, I interviewed Billy Graham, Franklin’s father, during the later years of his ministry. He emphasized America’s need for spiritual awakening and the biblical account of Nineveh, where the people responded to Jonah’s warning with repentance. That message helped shape my understanding of the relationship between national crises, biblical warnings, and the possibility of spiritual renewal.
More than a decade later, Franklin Graham is bringing another biblical warning before a national audience. Yet his most important message to Hannity was not simply about the Antichrist or a future one-world system. It was that humanity’s ultimate hope rests in Jesus Christ rather than political parties, governments, or technological solutions. His emphasis on repentance, salvation, and eternal life reminds Christians that the Gospel’s central purpose extends beyond speculation about future events.
A 40-Day Call to Prayer, Repentance, and Salvation
As the 40-Day Save America Rescue Operation, running from September 24 through November 3, 2026, continues, we invite believers across America and around the world to unite in prayer, fasting, repentance, and intercession. In a season marked by political uncertainty, economic concerns, technological transformation, and prophetic warnings, our greatest need is not fear but a renewed commitment to Jesus Christ. Let us pray for our nation’s leaders, the protection of our families, the strengthening of our churches, and a spiritual awakening that draws hearts back to God.
2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV)
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”
A Prayer for America, Revival, and Spiritual Protection
Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne with humble hearts, seeking Your mercy, wisdom, and forgiveness. We lift up America and the nations of the world, asking You to guide our leaders with righteousness, protect our families, strengthen Your churches, and bring peace where there is division. Expose deception, restrain evil, and grant Your people discernment in these uncertain times. Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon this generation, awaken hearts to Your truth, and raise up faithful men and women who will boldly proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. May this season of prayer and repentance become a turning point toward spiritual renewal, healing, and revival. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
A Prayer of Salvation
If you have never accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, or if you desire to return to Him, we invite you to respond to His love and grace today.
Romans 10:9 (KJV)
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
Lord Jesus, I come before You today acknowledging that I am a sinner in need of Your forgiveness and grace. I believe that You are the Son of God, that You died on the cross for my sins, and that You rose again on the third day. I repent of my sins and ask You to forgive me, cleanse my heart, and make me new. I surrender my life to You and receive You as my Lord and Savior. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit, guide my steps, strengthen my faith, and help me walk in Your truth all the days of my life. Thank You for Your love, mercy, and the gift of eternal life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
If you prayed this prayer sincerely, we encourage you to begin reading the Bible, connect with a Bible-believing church, and grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ.
