Week 2: Rebuilding and Protecting a Nation (Inspired by Nehemiah) 77 Days to Take Back America: Igniting A Final Great Awakening

Day 8: Praying for unity, security, and the protection of America’s values and foundations.

Scripture:

They said, ‘Let us start rebuilding.’ So they began this good work."
– Nehemiah 2:18

Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain. – Psalm 127:1

Reflection:

Today, on the Day 8 of our “77 Days to Take Back America: Igniting A Final Great Awakening” campaign of prayer, as we begin this week’s focus on rebuilding and protecting our nation, we draw inspiration from Nehemiah, who led the people of Jerusalem to rebuild the city’s walls despite significant opposition. The walls symbolized protection, strength, and God’s presence among His people. Just as Nehemiah rallied his community to restore what was broken, we too are called to rebuild and reinforce America’s spiritual foundations—values of faith, integrity, and unity under God.

Today, we pray for the strength and resolve to restore America’s foundations in God. May He renew in us a spirit of determination to uphold His truth, protect our nation’s values, and build a legacy of faith that will stand strong for generations. Let us commit ourselves to this sacred work, knowing that only with God’s guidance can we restore and protect what truly matters.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, just as You empowered Nehemiah to rebuild Jerusalem’s walls, we ask for Your strength and guidance as we work to restore America’s spiritual foundation. Grant our leaders, our communities, and each of us the resolve to uphold values rooted in Your truth. May President Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and every leader be strengthened by Your presence as they seek to protect and build up this nation.

Lord, help us to stand together in unity and faith, relying on You as the foundation of our work and our lives. We pray for protection over our efforts, that Your hand would guide us in every step of rebuilding, restoring, and renewing America according to Your will.

In the Mighty name of Jesus, I invoke the standing order of Almighty God to protect my family and our beloved country, America, from every attack, to propel us above every circumstance and crisis, and to prevent any weapon formed against us from prospering, so that we will not fall or fail but will be overcomers, more than conquerors through Christ Jesus. I command angels to surround us, to uphold and guard us in all our ways. Amen.

True rebuilding begins in the heart. Today, ask God to help you examine your own foundation, ensuring it is rooted in His truth. Commit to standing firm in His values, knowing He is the ultimate protector and builder.

Action for Awakening:

Today, pray for America’s foundations to be strengthened. Spend a moment in reflection or share a scripture that encourages restoration and unity. Reach out to someone in your community, encouraging them to join in this prayer for America’s values and strength.

Blessing:

May the Lord bless our efforts to rebuild and protect this nation’s foundations. May He grant you strength and determination to stand for His truth, and may His presence be a shield around you. As we work together in faith, may America be renewed and restored according to His will.
