Nov. 7, 2022 marked the beginning of a challenging chapter for my beloved wife Irene Anderson and I. Battling severe sepsis, severe Covid pneumonia, acute pancreatitis, stomach bleeding, and other life-threatening conditions, Irene spent 17 days in the hospital. We faced a storm of uncertainty, but thanks to the prayers of our family, friends, and prayer warrior teams, God intervened and saved Irene's life. Miraculously, a day after Thanksgiving, Irene returned home, a testament to the healing power of faith and love.
I lost 17 pounds over those 17 days, concerned about my wife's life, but we emerged from this trial with renewed spirits and hearts full of gratitude to God, our family and friends, and you, our Prophecy Investigators’ family. It is in the face of adversity that we often discover the depth of our inner strength, resilience and faith in the Lord.
As we celebrate Christmas and New Year's, we also celebrate the triumphs of the year. In the heart of a Year of Faith, Resilience, and Inspiration, my wife and I made our pilgrimage to Paradise Cove in Corona Del Mar—the very cradle of the Jesus Revolution. Standing upon that timeless shoreline, where the ocean's vastness meets the unwavering rocks that have stood the test of time, we discover a sanctuary. Here, in the embrace of nature's grandeur, we find solace, a quiet refuge to reflect on the enduring faithfulness of God that has guided us through the seasons. With hearts brimming with gratitude, our prayers rise, mingling with the whispers of the sea. May the words etched into this narrative become more than mere sentences; may they be a guiding light, a beacon of enlightenment, and an everlasting wellspring of inspiration.
