A Restless Nation Searching For Truth

As Easter approaches, a new Barna Group survey found nearly 3 in 10 American adults (29 percent) believe a spiritual revival is likely to happen in the next 12 months—rising to 38 percent among Generation Z.

New data from Barna, presented in partnership with Gloo as part of the 2026 State of the Church initiative, found a consistent pattern across multiple rounds of research: a growing share of Americans—especially younger adults—believe a spiritual revival is coming.

The findings point to a renewed openness to faith—particularly among younger Americans navigating anxiety, instability, and identity confusion.

“Across repeated studies, the directional finding holds: tens of millions of Americans—especially younger adults—believe a spiritual revival may be near,” according to Barna. “Even when revival is difficult to define or predict, the belief that spiritual change is possible signals a meaningful shift in cultural posture—from indifference and resistance toward openness and curiosity.”

This shift is unfolding against a backdrop of global uncertainty. The conflict with Iran, volatility in the markets and the price of oil, and cultural fragmentation have created what analysts increasingly describe as a sustained cycle of instability.

Trust in institutions continues to erode, yet interest in Jesus Christ, the Bible, and ultimate meaning is quietly rising. Historically, these conditions have often preceded spiritual renewal—moments when crisis exposes the limits of human systems and drives a search for divine truth.

“The belief that revival is coming doesn’t emerge from optimism alone,” according to Barna. “When Americans who expect a spiritual revival explain why, they point to a mix of spiritual hunger and cultural hardship. Across all adults, the top reasons are deeply spiritual in nature. Prayer leads the list, cited by 46 percent of revival-minded adults, followed by young generations turning toward God (44%), a search for meaning and purpose (41%), people experiencing God (39%), and hunger for God (37%). Miracles rounds out the spiritual category, cited by 30 percent of respondents.

“Alongside these signs of spiritual hunger, Americans also point to disruption as a catalyst. Mental health challenges, economic uncertainty, and political division each register with roughly a third of revival-minded adults, while the lingering effects of the pandemic and the rise of godlike AI trail further behind.”

As Holy Week unfolds, the questions move from abstract to urgent: What is truth? What is justice? What happens after this life? These are no longer peripheral concerns. They are central—and they are shaping the national conversation in ways that cannot be ignored.

A Letter, the President, and the Question

In recent months, a striking intersection of faith and public life captured national attention. Evangelist Franklin Graham wrote a personal letter to Donald Trump, addressing the former president’s public reflections about whether he would “make it to heaven.”

To mark Palm Sunday — a Christian holy day that takes place a week before Easter — on March 29, Trump shared a letter on Truth Social that he received from Franklin Graham, the son of the late evangelist Billy Graham.

Dated Oct. 15, 2025, the letter was written after Trump helped to broker a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas. It referenced previous remarks that the Republican leader made expressing concerns that he might not go to heaven after he dies.

“Maybe you responded in jest, but it is an important issue to know for certain that your soul is secure and will spend eternity in the presence of God," Franklin opined. "The only One who can save us from Hell is Jesus Christ. You can't save yourself; I can't save myself. Good works, prominence, success — none of these get us to Heaven. The only way to Heaven is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ."

Graham’s response was clear and rooted in biblical doctrine: salvation is not earned by influence or achievement, but received through faith in Jesus Christ.

Why does this matter?

Because it reveals something deeper: even at the highest levels of power, the question of eternity remains unresolved. In an age defined by influence, wealth, and political dominance, the most important question has not changed—What comes after this life? That such a question is now being voiced openly signals a broader cultural shift. Conversations once confined to private spaces are moving into the public square.

The Road To Jerusalem — A Deliberate Mission

To understand Easter, we must return to its origin—not as tradition, but as history. The Gospel accounts present Holy Week as a deliberate sequence, not a random chain of events. Jesus’ final journey to Jerusalem was intentional. He entered the city during Passover, when its population surged with pilgrims from across the region.

First-century historian Flavius Josephus described Jerusalem during this period as crowded and volatile—roads filled, tensions heightened, Roman oversight intensified. It was not a safe environment. It was a pressure point.

And yet, Jesus walked into it fully aware of what awaited Him.

This is the defining tension of Holy Week: not a victim caught in circumstances, but a Savior moving with purpose into suffering. It is a narrative that challenges modern assumptions about power and control. In God’s economy, purpose is not found in avoiding sacrifice—but in fulfilling it.

Palm Sunday — Two Kingdoms Collide

The entry into Jerusalem was a moment of prophetic fulfillment and political tension. Jesus rode in on a donkey, fulfilling Zechariah’s prophecy—a clear declaration of kingship. Yet it was a kingship that defied expectations.

Many scholars suggest that Roman authorities also entered the city during Passover with visible displays of military force—a reminder of imperial control. The contrast could not be more striking. On one side: power enforced through domination. On the other: a humble King offering peace.

The crowds shouted “Hosanna”—save us now—revealing their expectation of political liberation. They were looking for a ruler who would overthrow Rome. Instead, they were encountering a Savior who came to defeat sin and death.

Heavenly Father,

The Nation the Bible Saw Coming

Iran is back in the headlines.

Missile attacks. Nuclear ambitions. Proxy wars stretching from Gaza to Lebanon to the Persian Gulf. Shifting alliances. Escalating rhetoric. A region already trembling under the weight of history now seems poised once again on the edge of something far greater.

To most observers, Iran’s rise on the world stage looks like geopolitics. It appears to be the predictable collision of ideology, military ambition, religion, oil, and regional power. But to students of Bible prophecy, something far more extraordinary may be unfolding.

Because long before modern Iran emerged as a nation-state, Scripture already spoke of a power called Persia. It appears in the Bible again and again—not as a footnote, but as a nation woven into the very fabric of redemptive history.

In Genesis, its ancient roots appear among the first nations after the Flood.
In Isaiah, a Persian king is called by name more than a century before he is born.
In Daniel, Persia rises as one of the great prophetic empires of world history.
In Esther, Persia becomes the stage upon which the Jewish people are preserved from annihilation.

At the birth of Jesus, wise men from the East—very likely from the Persian world—arrive to worship the Messiah. And then, in one of the most sobering prophetic visions of the Old Testament, Ezekiel warns that Persia will stand among the nations that rise against Israel in the last days.

From Genesis to the end-time prophecies, Persia—modern Iran—is written into the biblical storyline. Yet the Bible does not present Iran as merely an enemy. Its prophetic journey is far more profound—and far more paradoxical.

Persia was once used by God to restore Israel. Persia later appears in visions of global conflict. And astonishingly, the prophet Jeremiah declares that even after judgment, Elam—the ancient heartland of Iran—may yet experience restoration in the latter days.

In other words, Iran’s biblical story is not simply one of war. It is a story of empire, prophecy, judgment, spiritual conflict, and the breathtaking possibility of redemption. To understand the headlines of our time, we must first understand what Scripture revealed long ago.

From Elam to Persia: Iran’s Story Begins in Genesis

The story of Iran in the Bible begins not in Ezekiel or Revelation, but in the earliest chapters of Scripture.

In Genesis 10, often called the Table of Nations, the Bible records how the descendants of Noah spread across the earth after the Flood. Among those names are two that would later help shape the region associated with modern Iran: Madai and Elam.

Madai, mentioned in Genesis 10:2, is understood as the ancestor of the Medes. Elam, mentioned in Genesis 10:22, became associated with a region in what is now southwestern Iran. These are not incidental references. They show that the land now known as Iran has stood within the biblical frame from the earliest days of post-Flood civilization.

By the time of Abraham, this region had already emerged as a geopolitical force. In Genesis 14, we encounter the Bible’s first major war narrative, where a coalition led by Chedorlaomer king of Elam invades Canaan and captures Lot, Abraham’s nephew. Abraham, with only 318 trained servants, pursues the invading kings and defeats them in a stunning and unlikely victory.

The lesson rings through the ages: no empire, no confederation, no military power stands above the sovereignty of Almighty God. Before Persia became an empire, before Iran became a modern flashpoint, the biblical record had already placed this region on the map of sacred history.

Persia: The Empire God Used to Restore Israel

Centuries later, Persia would rise to become one of the most powerful empires the world had ever known. Yet what makes Persia so remarkable in Scripture is not merely its strength, but its role in God’s redemptive purposes. Unlike Assyria and Babylon, which devastated Israel and Judah, Persia became the empire God used to restore His people.

More than 150 years before Cyrus the Great was born, the prophet Isaiah delivered one of the most astonishing prophecies in all of Scripture. In Isaiah 44:28, the Lord declares of Cyrus, “He is my shepherd and will accomplish all that I please,” and in Isaiah 45:1, the Lord speaks directly of “his anointed, to Cyrus.”

A pagan king was named in prophecy before he ever appeared on the stage of history. Then came the fulfillment. In Ezra 1, Cyrus issued the decree allowing the Jewish exiles to return to Jerusalem and rebuild the Temple. The empire that might have crushed them instead opened the door for restoration.

That is one of the great paradoxes of biblical prophecy: the very region later associated with end-times conflict was once the vessel God used to rebuild Jerusalem. Persia was not merely a threat in the Bible. At a pivotal hour in history, Persia was an instrument in the hand of God.

Daniel’s Visions: Persia as a Prophetic Empire

If Isaiah revealed Persia’s role in restoration, Daniel revealed its place in the prophetic sweep of world history.

In Daniel 2, Nebuchadnezzar dreamed of a great statue made of different metals, each representing successive world empires. Daniel interpreted the dream and declared that after Babylon, another kingdom would arise. Most scholars identify that kingdom as Medo-Persia, represented by the chest and arms of silver.

Daniel later saw the same empire through a series of vivid prophetic symbols. In Daniel 7, it appears as a bear raised up on one side, suggesting the uneven union of Media and Persia, with Persia becoming the dominant power. In Daniel 8, the prophet sees a ram with two horns, explicitly identified as “the kings of Media and Persia.” Again, the symbolism is striking: two powers joined in one empire, yet one rising higher than the other.

Persia was not an afterthought. It was one of the great kingdoms marked out by God in advance, a major actor in the divine timeline of nations. Daniel’s visions make clear that history is not random. Kingdoms rise and fall under the sovereign hand of God, and Persia was one of the empires He revealed ahead of time.

The Spiritual Battle Behind the Persian Empire

Daniel also pulls back the curtain on a dimension of history many modern readers forget: the invisible war behind earthly kingdoms.

In Daniel 10, an angelic messenger tells Daniel that he was delayed for twenty-one days by a powerful spiritual being described as “the prince of the kingdom of Persia.” Only when Michael came to assist was the messenger able to break through.

This is one of the Bible’s clearest glimpses into territorial spiritual warfare. It reminds us that the struggles of nations are not merely political, economic, or military. There are spiritual realities at work behind visible events. Empires do not move only by armies and kings. They also move amid unseen conflict in the heavenlies.

For believers, that means Iran cannot be understood only through the lens of headlines. Scripture invites us to see a deeper battle, one that involves principalities, powers, and the purposes of God unfolding across generations.

The Persian Miracle: Esther and the Survival of the Jewish People

One of the most dramatic moments in biblical history unfolded not in Jerusalem, but in the Persian Empire.

The entire book of Esther takes place in Persia, centered in the royal city of Susa. There, under the shadow of palace intrigue and political power, a genocidal plot arose against the Jewish people. Haman, driven by hatred and pride, sought their destruction. Yet through courage, fasting, providence, and divine timing, Queen Esther rose to intervene.

What was intended to become a day of annihilation became a day of deliverance. Once again, Persia became the setting where God preserved the destiny of Israel. This is crucial to remember when discussing Iran in prophecy. Persia’s biblical role is not one-dimensional. It is not only associated with danger. It is also linked with divine preservation, with reversals, with God’s power to turn mourning into triumph.

The story of Esther reminds us that God can work even in foreign courts, pagan systems, and hostile environments to protect His covenant purposes.

The book of Revelation does not mention Persia by name, but it reveals the final destination of history. The end of the story does not belong to rogue regimes, hostile coalitions, or rebellious nations. It belongs to Jesus Christ.

The final word of biblical prophecy is not chaos. It is Christ.

When all the passages are brought together, a stunning picture emerges. Iran appears in Scripture under several names—Persia, Elam, Media—and under each name we see another layer of its prophetic identity. It is there in the origins of nations. It is there in the rise of empire. It is there in the restoration of Jerusalem. It is there in Daniel’s visions. It is there in Esther’s deliverance. It is there in the birth of the Messiah. But perhaps the most important takeaway is this: Iran is not just a prophetic threat to analyze. It is also a nation of people made in the image of God—people living under oppression, searching for truth, and desperately in need of the gospel.

So the church must do more than watch the headlines. We must pray.
We must discern. We must remain anchored in Scripture.And we must remember that the God who named Cyrus, warned through Ezekiel, revealed the future to Daniel, and promised restoration to Elam is still ruling over the nations today.

A Prayer for the Nations in a Time of Prophecy

Heavenly Father,

You are the Lord of history, the King above every nation and every ruler. Long before empires rose and fell, You declared the end from the beginning. Nothing escapes Your sight, and no power can overturn Your purposes.

Today we lift up the people of Iran before You. Many live under fear, oppression, uncertainty, and spiritual darkness. We ask that Your light shine into every city, every home, and every heart. Let the gospel spread with power across Iran. Raise up bold believers, faithful pastors, underground churches, and courageous witnesses who will proclaim the name of Jesus Christ.

We also pray for Israel and for the peace of Jerusalem. Protect innocent lives. Restrain violence. Expose evil. Frustrate the plans of those who seek destruction, and let Your mercy triumph in the midst of conflict.

Give Your people discernment in these turbulent times. Keep us watchful, sober, faithful, and anchored in Your Word. Guard us from fear, speculation, and confusion. Teach us to pray with authority, live with holiness, and stand with courage as history moves toward its appointed end.

A short time ago, the United States military began major combat operations in Iran.

Our objective is to defend the American people by eliminating imminent threats from the Iranian regime — a vicious group of very hard, terrible people.

Its menacing activities directly endanger the United States, our troops, our bases overseas, and our allies throughout the world. For 47 years, the Iranian regime has chanted “Death to America” and waged an unending campaign of bloodshed and mass murder, targeting the United States, our troops, and innocent people in many countries.

Among the regime’s very first acts was backing the violent takeover of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran, holding dozens of American hostages for 444 days. In 1983, Iran’s proxies carried out the Marine barracks bombing in Beirut that killed 241 American military personnel. In 2000, they were involved in the attack on the USS Cole, where many Americans died.

Iranian forces killed and maimed hundreds of American service members in Iraq. The regime’s proxies have launched countless attacks against American forces stationed in the Middle East in recent years, as well as U.S. naval and commercial vessels in international shipping lanes.

It has been mass terror — and we will not put up with it any longer.

From Lebanon to Yemen, and Syria to Iraq, the regime has armed, trained, and funded terrorist militias that have soaked the earth with blood.

It was Iran’s proxy Hamas that launched the monstrous October 7 attacks on Israel, slaughtering more than 1,000 innocent people, including 46 Americans, while taking 12 of our citizens hostage. It was brutal — something like the world has never seen before.

Iran is the world’s number one state sponsor of terror and has recently killed tens of thousands of its own citizens as they protested in the streets.

It has always been the policy of the United States — and in particular my administration — that this terrorist regime can never have a nuclear weapon. I will say it again: they can never have a nuclear weapon.

That is why, in Operation Midnight Hammer last June, we obliterated the regime’s nuclear program at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan.

After that attack, we warned them never to resume their malicious pursuit of nuclear weapons, and we repeatedly sought to make a deal. We tried. Iran refused, just as it has for decades. They rejected every opportunity to renounce their nuclear ambitions.

Instead, they attempted to rebuild their nuclear program and continued developing long-range missiles that now threaten our allies in Europe, our troops overseas, and could soon reach the American homeland.

Imagine how emboldened this regime would be if it were armed with nuclear weapons.

For these reasons, the United States military is undertaking a massive and ongoing operation to prevent this wicked dictatorship from threatening America and our core national security interests.

We are going to destroy their missiles and level their missile industry to the ground. It will be obliterated. We are going to annihilate their navy. We are going to ensure that the regime’s terrorist proxies can no longer destabilize the region or attack our forces. They will no longer use IEDs or roadside bombs to wound and kill thousands, including many Americans.

And we will ensure that Iran does not obtain a nuclear weapon.

It is a very simple message: they will never have a nuclear weapon.

This regime will soon learn that no one should challenge the strength and might of the United States Armed Forces. I rebuilt our military in my first administration, and there is no military on earth close to its power, strength, or sophistication.

My administration has taken every possible step to minimize the risk to U.S. personnel in the region. Even so, I do not make this statement lightly — the Iranian regime seeks to kill. Courageous American heroes may be lost. We may have casualties. That happens in war.

But we are doing this not for today — we are doing this for the future. It is a noble mission.

We pray for every service member who is risking his or her life to ensure that Americans and our children will never be threatened by a nuclear-armed Iran. We ask God to protect our heroes in harm’s way, and we trust that with His help, the men and women of the Armed Forces will prevail.

To the members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, the armed forces, and the police, I say tonight: lay down your weapons and receive complete immunity. Otherwise, you will face certain death.

Lay down your arms. You will be treated fairly with total immunity. Or you will face certain death.

Finally, to the proud people of Iran, I say this: the hour of your freedom is at hand.

Stay sheltered. Do not leave your homes. It is dangerous outside. Bombs will be dropping.

When we are finished, take over your government. It will be yours to take. This may be your only chance for generations.

For many years, you asked for America’s help, but you did not receive it. No president was willing to do what I am willing to do tonight.

Shaking Does Not Mean God Has Lost Control

Political, Financial, and Geopolitical Systems Are Shaking—But the Gospel Is Not

Scripture does not promise insulation from shaking; it promises God’s presence in the midst of it. Jesus Himself warned that storms would come, but He also declared that those who build on the rock will stand when they do.

In seasons like this, the Church is not called to retreat into silence or surge into panic. We are called to respond with steady, Scripture-anchored faith, rooted in Christ rather than systems. While nations shake and markets fluctuate, the gospel remains unchanged—offering repentance, redemption, and hope to a world searching for solid ground.

Shaking reveals where trust has been misplaced. It exposes false securities and confronts idolatry in all its forms. But for those anchored in Christ, shaking also clarifies what truly cannot be moved. The Kingdom of God does not depend on political cycles, financial markets, or global alliances. It stands firm—unchanged, unshaken, and advancing—even in the midst of upheaval.

A Warning to the Church: Discernment Is Not Driven by Fear

In seasons of widespread shaking, prophetic language naturally increases. Yet Scripture makes clear that not every message framed as prophetic produces life, clarity, or truth. When warnings place crushing responsibility on believers—or suggest that disaster is unavoidable unless the Church performs at a certain level—they subtly distort the heart of the gospel and shift trust away from Christ’s finished work.

Jesus Himself said that His yoke is easy and His burden is light. The Holy Spirit does not compel obedience through intimidation, fear, or spiritual pressure. True watchmanship is marked by clarity, sobriety, and peace, not panic. Watchmen are called to discernment, not dread; to faithful witness, not coercion.

Do Not Confuse Political Alignment with Spiritual Identity

As political divisions intensify, the temptation to define ourselves by ideology rather than by Christ grows stronger. In moments of cultural pressure, it becomes easy—even subtle—to allow political allegiance to shape spiritual identity. But Scripture reminds us that our citizenship is first in heaven, and our ultimate allegiance belongs to Jesus Christ alone.

The Lord is not calling His watchmen to shout louder. He is calling us to see clearer. Our assignment is not to inflame fear, but to provide perspective; not to speculate endlessly, but to anchor people in Scripture; not to glorify shaking, but to interpret it through the lens of redemption.

True watchmanship does not chase every headline or amplify every tremor. It discerns patterns, tests the spirit behind the message, and points people back to what is eternal. In times of upheaval, clarity becomes more valuable than volume, and faithfulness more important than urgency.

The world may be shaking geopolitically. The economy may be shaking financially. Nations may be shaking politically. But the Kingdom of God is not.

This is the confidence of the watchman—not denial of shaking, but assurance of what endures. When everything that can be shaken begins to move, the unshakable becomes unmistakably clear. Our task is to help the Church see that difference, stand in it, and respond with faith, humility, and obedience.

Why Davos, Why Now

“Globalization has failed the West and the United States of America. It’s a failed policy.”

As global elites convene this January in Davos, a question echoed across diplomatic corridors and financial markets alike: Why is the Trump administration showing up at the World Economic Forum at all?

According to Howard Lutnick, the answer is straightforward—and confrontational by design. The administration is not attending to preserve the old order - the “Great Reset” plan announced by former WEF Chairman Klaus Schwab at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 - but to challenge it head-on.

“We are in Davos, at the World Economic Forum, and the Trump administration—and myself—we are here to make a very clear point, “ Lutnick said. “Globalization has failed the West and the United States of America. It’s a failed policy. It is what the WEF has stood for, which is export offshore, far-shore, find the cheapest labor in the world and the world is a better place for it. The fact is, it has left America behind. It has left the American worker behind. And what we are here to say is that America First is a different model—one that we encourage other countries to consider—which is that our workers come first. We can have policies that impact our workers. Sovereignty is your borders. You’re entitled to have borders. You shouldn’t offshore your medicine. You shouldn’t offshore your semiconductors. You shouldn’t offshore your entire industrial base and have it be hollowed out beneath you. You should not be dependent for that which is fundamental to your sovereignty on any other nation. And if you’re going to be dependent on someone, it darn well better be your best allies.
Okay? And so that is a different way of thinking. It is completely different than the WEF.”

In a forceful op-ed published by the Financial Times, Lutnick—writing in his official capacity as U.S. Secretary of Commerce—argued that decades of globalist economic doctrine hollowed out Western industry, weakened supply chains, and left working families behind. Examining Candace Owens’ Provocative Claim About Time Travel From the Biblical Perspective

Candace Owens recently made a startling claim that has captured widespread attention: that Charlie Kirk was a “time traveler” and that his life and death were connected to a prophetic turning point in history.

Can certain people sense their place in history before it unfolds?

What Candace Owens Claimed

In her showed titled, “PROJECT LOOKING GLASS: How Did Charlie Know He Was Going to Die?”, Owens recounted personal conversations and text messages in which Kirk allegedly described himself as a “time traveler,” someone who felt compelled to fulfill a mission and understood—before it happened—that he would die young.

Kirk, 31, the founder of Turning Point USA, was assassinated on September 10 while speaking at a university in Utah.

On the episode, Owens revisited claims surrounding a classified intelligence program known as Project Looking Glass—a program whistleblowers have alleged involves technologies capable of viewing possible future timelines.

Owens framed her discussion around government projects, whistleblower claims, and strange cultural phenomena—déjà vu, the Mandela Effect, and a growing sense that something in our world feels “locked in” and unstable all at once.

“I don’t think I will ever get over the fact that Charlie Kirk knew that he was going to die young,” Owens said. “I am starting to believe that so did the agents that surrounded him throughout his entire life.”

Owens claimed Kirk was monitored as part of a “CIA program that came to be known as Project Looking Glass.”

“And it makes me think that Charlie may have been marked since he was a child,” Owens said. “We’ve discussed these ‘gate’ programs that they have in school. And I just think on the basis of what he told me, that when he was really young, they wanted to drug him, but his mother said no, and he was really grateful for that. And instead, they decided that they could send him to this X-Men school.”

Owens did not present proof of time travel technologies. Instead, she framed the matter as something more unsettling—a sense of “knowing” that certain events had to happen for history to shift.

Since Kirk’s tragic death, Turning Point USA has received over 120,000 inquiries from people wanting to start new campus chapters at high schools and colleges nationwide. Lucas Miles, senior director of Turning Point USA Faith, said many pastors at the 9,500 churches Turning Point works with nationwide are reporting attendance increases of 25 percent, 35 percent, and even 50 percent, with some congregations doubling or tripling in size—early signs of revival I’ve chronicled in Designated Disrupter: Trump and Other Unlikely Agents of Revival.

The Bible Is Full of ‘Time Travelers’

Scripture is filled with men and women who carried advance knowledge of future events—not through time machines, but through divine revelation.

Joseph foresaw famine years before it arrived (Gen. 41:25–36). Daniel predicted the rise and fall of great empires long before they came to pass (Dan. 2:31–45). Jeremiah wept over the capture of Jerusalem by the Babylonians long before it happened (Jer. 1:10). Jesus Himself repeatedly foretold His death and that he would be raised to life on the third day (Matt. 16:21; John 12:23–24).

None of them “traveled” through time. But all of them understood time.

“Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.” (Amos 3:7).

The Trump Code and the Mysteries of Time

When I wrote The Trump Code: Exploring Time Travel, Nikola Tesla, the Trump Lineage, and America’s Future, I didn’t set out to write a book solely about time travel. I wanted to document patterns in history that seemed prophetic—moments when the past seemed to be replicated in the present.

In the book, which in part explored the curious 19th century novels of Ingersoll Lockwood—The Baron Trump Collection about a boy named “Little Baron Trump” who lived in “Castle Trump” and was guided by Don Fum, the “great master of all masters,” on time-traveling adventures— I explored how:

– History moves in cycles, not straight lines (“What has been will be again…” (Ecclesiastes 1:9).

– God raises up disrupters at precise moments of national crisis (Daniel 2:21).

– Warning signs often appear long before judgment or revival arrives (Matthew 16:3).

Readers of The Trump Code and viewers of YouTube and TikTok videos that garnered tens of millions of views on the “Baron Trump” phenomenon may have noticed something uncanny: events unfolding today appeared to mirror writings from generations ago—sometimes with unsettling accuracy.

What really captured people’s attention was Lockwood’s last novel in the series, 1900: or, The Last President, in which an unlikely candidate for president is elected, followed by a “state of uproar,” “Anarchists and Socialists” converging on the “Fifth Avenue Hotel”—where Trump Tower now stands in New York City—chanting, “Death to the rich man!” This was followed by armies advancing on Washington, D.C. and the destruction of the Capitol in Lockwood’s novel. “The bells were ringing a glad welcome to the New Century, but a solemn tolling would have been a fitter thing, for the Republic of Washington was no more,” Lockwood wrote.

Designated Disrupter: Why the Unlikely Seem to ‘Know’ Their Role

My new book Designated Disrupter builds on The Trump Code by examining why God often uses unlikely, imperfect, and disruptive individuals—and why many of them sense their calling long before the world does.

Moses resisted his assignment but knew he was chosen (Ex. 3–4). Jeremiah protested that he was too young but was told his destiny was set before his birth (Jer. 1:5). John the Baptist lived as if his life would be short and it was (Matt. 14:10–12).

Not Time Travel—But Time Awareness

So was Kirk a “time traveler”? Not in the cinematic sense.

But like many figures before him, he may have been time-aware—sensitive to the weight of the moment he was living in, the resistance he faced, and the cost that often accompanies disruption.

“Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” (Ps. 90:12).

The Looking Glass Claim

Owens described claims tied to Project Looking Glass, an alleged program said to involve technology capable of viewing possible future timelines.

According to Owens, operators reportedly discovered that, regardless of the variables, many outcomes converged on a single fixed point, frequently described as occurring between 2012 and 2016.

From that moment onward, as the story goes, the future became harder to “read”—as if the branching possibilities had collapsed into a wall.

Owens emphasized another claim: that the consciousness of those observing the device influenced what it revealed—suggesting that thoughts could affect outcomes.

Whether these details are literally true, the broader idea is worth examining: What if there are moments in history where trajectories narrow—where civilization approaches an appointed intersection?

Scripture Repeatedly Warns That Such Moments Exist

“To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven.” (Eccl. 3:1)

God “changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others.” (Dan. 2:21)

God declares “the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come.” (Isa. 46:10)

Jesus said there are prophetic realities that “must come to pass” (Matt. 24:6) and events that come like “labor pains” (1 Thess. 5:3).

This isn’t science fiction. That is how the Bible views history.

Why This Matters Now

We are living in a time when history feels compressed and accelerated. The Bible warned this would happen.

“Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.” (Dan. 12:4)

“The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.” (Rom. 13:12)

The Trump Code and Designated Disrupter argue the same central truth: when God shakes the world, He also reveals prophetic patterns—and when patterns are revealed, people must choose whether to ignore them or respond.

Owens’ claim has sparked controversy, but it has also reopened a conversation the Church cannot afford to dismiss: Are we merely reacting to events or are we discerning the times?

“Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.” (Rev. 1:3)

If history feels like it’s repeating or converging—perhaps it’s because it is.

Not because humans control time, but because God does.

“‘I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,’ says the Lord, ‘who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.’” (Rev. 1:8).

And that reality should not lead us to fear, but to faith, the truth, and courage in the days ahead.

When Prophetic Warnings, World Events, and Scripture Converge

When breaking news, prophetic warnings, and biblical patterns converge simultaneously, Scripture teaches us to pay attention.

That is why the January 7, 2026 broadcast of Take Five on His Glory Network, hosted by Pastor Dave Scarlett and featuring prophetic voice Julie Green, stood out as unusually explosive.

Alongside global developments, the discussion highlighted massive corruption and fraud allegations in Minnesota, California, Illinois, and New York. Minnesota’s fraud was described as only the beginning, with California facing what insiders claim could be tens of billions of dollars in waste, abuse, and laundering, and similar exposure anticipated in Illinois and New York.

Internationally, Venezuela was identified as a central hub for election interference, human trafficking, narcoterrorism, and illicit finance, with the removal of Nicolás Maduro portrayed as a sudden collapse of a keystone regime. Why I Wrote Designated Disrupter

Pastor Dave Scarlett and Julie Green are clear examples of what Scripture repeatedly reveals: God often advances revival through unlikely agents.

They do not operate from traditional power centers. They are not political officials or institutional gatekeepers. Yet their obedience, clarity, and willingness to speak when it is uncomfortable place them within a biblical pattern God has used for generations.

That pattern is the context in which my new book Designated Disrupter was written—the continuation of the investigative and prophetic arc first explored in The Trump Code.

This book did not begin as a political project. It began as a watchman’s record of what I believe is a coming great revival—one that does not arrive quietly.

How the Title Came Together

While the vision and framework were mine, the title emerged through collaboration.

The editorial and creative team at Charisma House recognized the pattern running through the manuscript and proposed the title Designated Disrupter, inspired by the television series Designated Survivor. The fit was precise. God often allows disruption so that His hand cannot be confused with human design.

Why Trump—and Other “Unlikely Agents”—Are Examined

This book does not argue that revival comes from politicians.

It examines why God has repeatedly used controversial nd unconventional figures during moments of national crisis to expose corruption and awaken people’s consciences.

Scripture provides the framework:

The typical Gen Z churchgoer now attends 1.9 weekends per month, while Millennial churchgoers average 1.8 times—a steady upward shift since the lows seen during the pandemic.

These are the highest rates of church attendance among young Christians since they first hit Barna’s tracking.

Daniel Copeland, Barna’s vice president of research, said, “We were able to analyze our data in a fresh way to show what many pastors feel—that even really regular churchgoers do not attend that often. Among all churched adults, we found that they attend, on average, 1.6 times per month, or roughly two out of every five weekends. This new analysis of the tracking data helps us better understand the frustrations pastors feel when they are trying to build momentum for their congregations, such as series-based preaching and mobilizing volunteers.”

“Even so, the fact that young people are showing up more frequently than before is not a typical trend,” Copeland explained. “It’s typically older adults who are the most loyal churchgoers. This data represents good news for church leaders and adds to the picture that spiritual renewal is shaping Gen Z and Millennials today.”

Father Gerald Murray, pastor of St. Joseph’s Church in New York, told Newsmax he is deeply encouraged by this shift—and offered a striking explanation.

“It’s the grace of God, of course, because He moves hearts and souls,” Murray said. “But then He has these instruments on earth, such as Charlie Kirk.”

Murray explained that Charlie Kirk’s shocking and heinous murder awakened many young people spiritually, forcing them to confront eternal questions they had long ignored:

How am I supposed to live? How am I supposed to treat my neighbor? What is the basis of our laws and customs in America?

Kirk, Murray noted, consistently reminded young Americans that the United States was founded on Christian principles—a society rooted in divine justice, moral responsibility, and respect for God’s law.

“As a priest, I can tell you,” Murray said, “the only peace of soul that you get is what comes from heaven. Everything else is a false trail.”

Heavenly Father,

As we step into 2026, we come before You with humble hearts and awakened spirits. We acknowledge that You are sovereign over the nations, Lord of history, and the One who holds the future in Your hands.

We recognize that America is a shaken nation—but we declare that shaking is not the end of the story. Your Word tells us that when everything that can be shaken is shaken, what remains is what You have established. We ask You now to remove what is built on pride, deception, and compromise, and to strengthen what is rooted in truth, righteousness, and Your eternal purposes.

Lord, we thank You that revival is rising—not by human effort, not by political power, but by Your Spirit. We ask that You continue to awaken hearts across this land, especially among the next generation. Draw the prodigals home. Heal broken families. Restore reverence for Your Word. Rekindle first love in Your Church.

Raise up watchmen who will not sleep. Give us discernment to recognize the times, courage to speak truth, and compassion to stand firm without hatred or fear. Teach us to pray fervently, to walk humbly, and to love boldly.

The Night Heaven Entered History

Christmas Eve is not merely the quiet prelude to a holiday morning. It is the threshold of a moment that altered the course of human history. More than two thousand years ago, in a forgotten town under foreign occupation, God stepped into time. Heaven touched earth. Eternity entered the human story. History itself would be divided forever—before Christ and after Christ.

When Jesus was born, the world barely noticed. There were no royal proclamations or political celebrations. No armies assembled. No headlines announced the arrival of the King of Kings. Instead, angels appeared to shepherds. A star guided seekers. A child was laid in a manger. Yet this humble birth fulfilled biblical prophecies written centuries earlier with astonishing precision. Isaiah spoke of a child upon whose shoulders the government would rest. Micah named Bethlehem as the place. Daniel pointed to the timing.

The birth of Christ did not simply bring comfort to the weary. It ignited a truth so powerful that generations of believers would suffer, bleed, and even die defending it. And that defense did not end in the first century. It echoed through history, including in the life of a man many today know only as a legend.

The Saint Behind the Santa—and the Truth He Defended

Around the world, children await Santa Claus—also known as Kris Kringle, Père Noël, or Sinterklaas—without realizing he was a real historical figure. His name was Nicholas of Myra, a Christian bishop who lived in what is now modern-day Turkey. Far from a mythical character, Nicholas was a man of deep conviction, radical generosity, and unshakable faith in Jesus Christ.

Nicholas lived during one of the darkest periods for Christians under the Roman Empire. He refused to call the emperor “lord,” insisting that only Jesus Christ deserved that title. For this confession, he was imprisoned and brutally tortured. Church leaders filled the prisons so completely that criminals were turned away. Yet Nicholas did not recant.

His generosity later became legend. Born into wealth, Nicholas gave his inheritance away to help the poor, including secretly providing dowries for three young women who otherwise faced slavery. He exposed corrupt officials, intervened to save innocent men from execution, and served the sick and needy without recognition. But his boldest stand came not from generosity alone—it came from defending truth.

After persecution eased, Nicholas was freed and attended the Council of Nicaea in A.D. 325—exactly 1,700 years ago this year. The council was convened to confront a dangerous heresy promoted by a preacher named Arius, who claimed Jesus was not fully God. Arius even turned his teachings into popular songs, spreading deception through culture and music. According to early Christian accounts recorded by the Voice of the Martyrs, as Arius publicly dishonored Christ, Nicholas stood up—and struck him.

The room was stunned. Church leaders understood Nicholas’ zeal, but Christ had called His followers to peace. Nicholas was removed from his position as bishop, though he was later restored. Yet the moment revealed something critical: the truth of who Jesus is mattered enough to provoke action, sacrifice, and consequence. Christmas was never passive theology. It declared that God became flesh.

That truth remains contested today.

Why These Stories Matter Now

The story of Christmas is not isolated in history. Neither is the courage of saints like Nicholas of Myra. Each generation is confronted with the same question: Will we discern truth—and will we defend it when it is challenged? 1. What do you mean by “Designated Disrupter,” and how is God using unconventional people?

Troy Anderson: A “designated disrupter” is someone whom God hand-selects to interrupt the plans of the enemy and redirect the course of history. These people don’t usually fit religious expectations—they’re often bold, controversial, and even rough around the edges. But that’s exactly why God uses them: they’re fearless.

Throughout Scripture, God has done this repeatedly. He chose Gideon, who saw himself as the least of his tribe; David, a young shepherd; and Esther, an orphan in exile. In our modern era, He’s using business leaders, entertainers, and political figures to speak truths that pierce through cultural noise.

When we look at someone like Donald Trump, regardless of personal opinions, we can’t ignore that his presidency disrupted global systems, exposed corruption, and opened doors for faith leaders to once again speak into the public square. That’s not random—it’s divine orchestration. These disrupters are shaking institutions, and through that shaking, God is revealing Himself in ways the world can no longer ignore.

2. What do you say to critics who question whether God could use controversial figures?

Troy Anderson: It’s a fair question, and it’s one I hear often. But the Bible is full of examples that answer it for us. God rarely calls the perfect; He perfects the called. Think of King David—a man after God’s own heart who also failed deeply. Or Paul, who persecuted Christians before becoming one of history’s greatest apostles.

When we study revival history, we find the same pattern. God uses imperfect vessels to deliver perfect truth. The focus isn’t on the person’s flaws but on God’s ability to work through them. That’s what grace looks like in motion.

I believe these figures—whether they’re political leaders, commentators, or artists—are being positioned to prepare the way for something greater. Their boldness stirs conversation, their courage breaks complacency, and their influence helps carry biblical truth into places the Church can’t always reach on its own. The point isn’t to idolize them—it’s to recognize God’s fingerprints in unexpected places.

3. You write that America is in its “Nineveh Moment.” What does that mean?

Troy Anderson: The story of Nineveh is one of the most hopeful in Scripture. It shows that even when a nation is on the brink of destruction, repentance can change everything. God sent Jonah with a warning—but also with mercy. When the people repented, judgment was delayed for over a hundred years.

Right now, America faces a similar moral and spiritual crisis. We’ve legalized what God forbids, normalized what once brought shame, and silenced voices of truth in the name of tolerance. But despite all of that, God’s heart is still for redemption.

Our “Nineveh moment” means we’re at a spiritual tipping point. If we humble ourselves, pray, and seek His face, we could see the greatest move of God in our nation’s history. 4. Can you share a story from your research that moved you?

Troy Anderson: One of the most powerful moments during my research came when I interviewed young people who experienced Baptize America. They told me there was no celebrity preacher, no lights, no big production—just the raw presence of God in their baptism.

Students who had been apathetic or even skeptical found themselves overjoyed with the experience of baptism and God’s forgiveness of their sins.

I also spoke with leaders in Hollywood who privately shared that they’ve come to faith after years of searching for meaning. Some of them are now producing films and shows that carry biblical themes to millions. These are subtle but profound shifts happening beneath the surface.

Those stories reminded me that revival doesn’t start in headlines—it starts in hearts. It begins when people encounter the living God personally, and that’s what we’re seeing more and more across the culture.

Troy Anderson: Absolutely. I see them as the early tremors of a spiritual earthquake. The Return: National and Global Day of Prayer and Repentance in Washington, D.C.—which gathered hundreds of thousands for repentance—wasn’t just another event; it was a prophetic call for America to turn back to God.
